WHY CT FAMILY?

Why Choose CT Family Learning Centre & Montessori?

CT Family Montessori is the sibling site of the well-established and award winning DMS Montessori Preschool & Daycare. We are a licensed childcare centre regulated by Ministry of Health and Government of Ontario. Our trained Montessori teachers are experts in the Montessori method of education, and strive to prepare engaging, stimulating environments for children to explore and learn. Our Registered Early Childhood Educators working alongside our trained Montessori teachers are experts in child development, developmentally appropriate practice, and understanding of the rules as they pertain to the Ministry of Education. As a Montessori classroom, we embody and practice the Montessori approach to education each and every day. Our work with children is heavily passionate and dependent upon our innate belief that children are competent and capable of learning.

Our many programs, which range from Bambini (Infant) to Before and After School (primary children) aim to teach children more than just academic skills. Areas of focus include fostering independence and self-help skills, building confidence and self-esteem through the breakdown concrete to abstract learning tasks, and learning through individual exploration with accessible, self-correcting Montessori materials. As early as infancy, we introduce children to academic areas like circle time, practical life, language and reading, math, and cultural curriculum. These skills are nurtured as children make their way through our PRE-CASA and CASA programs, where the challenges become greater and the potential for success even more vast!
